Oil of the night: Northern Lights Black Spruce
From Young Living: this beloved Canadian oil reflects the character of the trees from which it is derived, echoing their resilient, deeply rooted strength. Strength enhanced by the natural challenges of the environment, to grow ever taller and dignified, reaching upward to the energy of the dancing northern lights in the sky. The fortitude is evident in the aromatic character of the distilled essential oil.
Tucked away in the isolated boreal forests of British Columbia, the Northern Lights Farm in Fort Nelson has been producing Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil since 2015. The farm was a labor of love for Canada’s Royal Crown Diamonds, Ben and Carol Howden and their family. They worked tirelessly, in frigid temperatures, alongside Young Living Founder D. Gary Young to give the world a source of Black Spruce essential oil that was untouched by synthetic chemicals and fertilizers. Cory Howden, now the Northern Lights Farm Manager, carries on that legacy. The oil is steam distilled from the entire Black Spruce tree, not just the branches and needles. This oil supports your endocrine system, respiratory system, muscles and emotions. Put it over your adrenal glands, use as a chest rub, use after working out, and diffuse daily.

Quote of the night: “On fear: what’s my advice? Jump. Walk away from your comfort zone. Your rank up can’t happen while you are comfortable. If you’re not scared, you’re too comfortable. Step out of habits and routine. Every day that you are frustrated, He is still faithful.” Sarah Harnisch, Unstuck
