Welcome to the “How to Run a Gameplan Bootcamp” page!
If you are building a Young Living business, you are in the right place!
Never run a Bootcamp with your team before?
Here are instructions on how to run your own Bootcamp (for leaders only)
Gameplan is designed for leaders who want a one-click way of running regular bootcamps with their team, without having to reinvent the wheel and come up with new language each time.
If you are brand new to Young Living or are using Gameplan for the very first time, or if you have no team and are doing it alone, I recommend you start on the main bootcamp page and do it yourself first, then return here when you’re ready to run it with your team. Click here to get started.
What is bootcamp?
Gameplan was written in 2016 as a way for leaders to understand the ins and outs of Young Living and swim in the same direction as a cohesive team. Most of us have never run a successful network marketing business before. Young Living works if you know the pitfalls, avoid getting sidetracked and distracted, and do the actions that cause your business to grow. When it was launched, 170,000 people were on the first bootcamp and it became a movement. Since then, thousands upon thousands have successfully used Gameplan to rank up. With more than 1.5 million books sold in a year, Gameplan two years later still tops the business charts on the world’s largest bookseller, Amazon. It’s because it has results. It’s not only the best-selling Young Living book of all time, but it will help you strategize and give you the words to get to the next rank—and take all your leaders with you. The system is simple, duplicatable, and can be completely finished in 12 days.
Does bootcamp actually work?
Read the 11-hundred 5-star peer reviews on Amazon here. Scout this website for testimonies of leaders who have hit Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Read the forward of the 2nd edition, written by Olivier Wenker, Gary Young’s physician, who took the system and went from Gold to Crown Diamond in a year. Sarah herself hit Diamond with Gameplan just two years after getting her starter kit.
How do I run it?
You’ll need a 2nd edition Gameplan book, 2nd edition Gameplan workbook, and an hour of time a day. (The workbook is your personal accountability system for Gameplan, don’t skip it!) When you pursue a college degree, it takes at least 4 years. For network marketing, you can get paid like you have a college degree but get all the training you need to launch in 12 days. Each day you put one post up on your business page that includes 3 things: a graphic (pick from the ones below), the words to challenge them for the day (the words are provided for you below, just copy and paste!) and a link to the video for that day. Most videos are 30-45 minutes, though two run an hour.
NOTE: The videos below are to train you how to run a bootcamp. They are not the actual bootcamp videos that you will post on your page. They are simply short, daily encouragement for you as you learn to lead your team. Get the actual bootcamp videos here.
After they watch the videos—then what do I do?
Every day there is Gameplan homework. They must read two chapters of the book and do two worksheets daily. With the videos, they are looking at a 60-90 minute daily commitment. But in twelve days, you’re totally done—trained inside out and upside down. You can run one day a week, or do all twelve days back to back. You can shoot your own videos to the chapters if you like. There is no wrong way to run bootcamp. Make it fit you and your team. I do like to ask my team to participate on the page. So if we’re making vision boards for a workbook assignment, they will post the pictures of their board. If we’re talking excuses, they will post their greatest excuse. It gives you a chance to engage with your leaders in a more intimate way.
What does Gameplan cover?
It’s easy to tell your team just to focus on income producing activities: grab a script, read it, sign the human. Use Fearless to get them on Essential Rewards. But the reality is that they have a thousand questions after the first sign up: “where do I put them?” “what is sponsor and enroller?” “how do I log into the Virtual Office”? All of that is covered swiftly and concisely in Gameplan, in one neat place. Other topics in the 24-chapter book include:
- Mindset training
- How to teach (with a script to make it simple and duplicatable)
- How to close (with a script)
- A Virtual Office tour
- Distractions
- Excuses
- Rising Star bonuses training
- Compensation plan training
- How to pray for your business
- How to talk to people you do not know
How often do I need to run Gameplan bootcamp?
I run Gameplan bootcamps with my entire team twice a year: in January and July. Then they’re not over-Gameplanned. On the off months, I pick new leaders—either people who have never run bootcamp before that were just signed, or people that did not have a chance to do the last bootcamp, or people with a “thunder thigh”—one large leg and a small one, that would rank quickly if they knew how to build. I start a private Facebook group with 2 people at a time and I run bootcamp with them February, March, April, May, June, August, September, October, and November. That simple act of duplication is the most powerful tool you have in your business. If your leaders finish bootcamp and pick 2 people to train also, and that duplicates just 12 times, you have an organization of 531,000 and are a Royal Crown Diamond in one year. The power of Gameplan is in the duplication.
Will this be here forever and will you charge for it?
I came from poverty. I know what it’s like to try to build your business when your bank account is overdrawn. I will never, ever charge for bootcamp. It will be free forever.
Should I do bootcamp myself?
If it’s been a while, it’s not a bad idea. I actually re-do my own bootcamp every six months, because I’m in a different place of leadership and I pull completely different things from the book. Are you obligated to rewatch all the bootcamp videos? Never. Your time commitment as a leader is to watch the bootcamp training videos below (10-15 minutes a day) and put your post up. Then engage with your leaders as they respond. You’ll build an incredible team culture on your page! When your distributors run their own bootcamps, they have inadvertently stepped into the role of leader. You have them leading without even realizing it. And that builds a self-sufficient team that can stand without you there. That’s the Gameplan method. 12 days = fire.
That’s it! Here we go! The 12 teacher videos are below (for your eyes only!), with write ups and graphics for each day at the bottom of the page. The write ups and graphics are also posted to the main bootcamp page here.
It’s time to GROW! I believe in you!
