There are 3 types of Follow Up Bags:
- The bag for classes—to people who do not have a starter kit
- The bag for vendor events
- The bag for people who have gotten kits and need to know how to use them and are not yet on Essential Rewards
Follow Up Bag 1: For Classes (for people who do not yet have a starter kit)
Small, 6×9 organza bags work well. Just go to Amazon, type in “organza bags 6 x 9“– and you’re off and running. Everything listed below will fit inside. Pick any color bag you like–Sarah just uses purple for Young Living lavender.
- A photo of the starter kit. The one I am using right now is available through Life Science Publishing. You can get them here.
- Your contact information (Vistaprint has business cards for 20% off with the code THANKS20).
- An explanation of how to order the starter kit from home (you can find wording for this in Appendix I in the Gameplan book)
- A sample of a Young Living product (I like small jars of Cool Azul pain cream, a Thieves cough drop, or a sample of Thieves Cleaner in a roll on or in a spray bottle.)
- The mini pocket-sized version of Your Gameplan
If you are able, I also hand them include the free audio 101—either a paper with the link on it, or you have permission to burn your own by downloading the file. Audio CD’s cost less than 50 cents to burn yourself. If you share the audio 101 with every person that comes to class, and tell them to share it with someone they know should have been there, you effectively double every class size you teach!
(You can download these images by right clicking on the image and then select ‘Save image as’. Special thanks to Jayme Keunkel for making these available.)
Follow Up Bag 2: For Vendor Events (for people with no exposure to Young Living)
I usually skip samples at the vendor booths because they can be very pricey to stock. But I do burn lots of cd’s and hand them out like candy—as well as the mini Your Gameplan books. The CD’s are critical because they have not been to a class, and do not know they need the oils.
Follow Up Bag 3: For people who have a kit (that you would like to see on Essential Rewards)
- A Graphic that explains Essential Rewards (You may use the one above that was designed for my team!)
- Diamond Jordan Schrandt’s Welcome book
- The promotions for that month for Essential Rewards
- A handwritten note
- I slip a Fearless mini book in every single care package I mail out!
- A CD of the 101 lecture, or a link to the oilabilityteam.com website where they can listen.
- I will also send samples of Young Living products (NingXia, oils samples with the Share It bottles in your starter kit, Nitro, or lip balm.) Or at the very least, print off one of our essential rewards idea images and slip that in the package too.
If you can wing it, I recommend Jenn O Sullivan’s French Aromatherapy book to train them how to use their kits. Another idea is to send a sample of a new product.
For people that got a starter kit a while ago and have not gotten onto essential rewards, I like Jordan Schrandt’s Miss You books. They are very well written.
