Oil of the night: Hinoki

It is sourced from Japan; from the wood of the Japanese Hinoki tree. It takes about a half pound of Hinoki wood to make a 5mL bottle. It’s a reloading and soothing oil. It works well with Bergamot, Cypress or Lemon. It’s a good alternative for those who are sensitive to tree oils. Hinoki wood is very durable and makes it reliable for construction. The Pagoda at the Horyuji Temple in Nara, Japan is over 1000 years old. It was built in 600AD and is still in-tact today.  Well-built hinoki structures can last a thousand years or more. I want longevity in my business! This tree is sturdy and strong and make a good foundation. Whatever it does in nature, I want it to do with me—to get my head in that place, as though I was standing on a thousand hinoki trees.

Hinoki is uplifting, cleansing, comforting and opens the mind for new perspectives. Great for alleviating tension and reducing stress. Great for breathing- put it on the back, feet, or chest. I love to use it to calm me down. It’s great for hair growth. It keeps bugs away. If you add it to your mop water—bugs will hate your floor. Great for bug problems in the garden. You can condition wooden doors, cutting boards—or other wood around the house to prevent rotting, with hinoki oil. It’s good for those that need support for their brain. As a traumatic brain injury survivor, this oil is a huge comfort to me and helps me focus.

What does Hinonki smell like? It is evergreen smelling with lemony facets.

By law, the essential oil can only be extracted from trees that have fallen—just like Gary personally enacted for the Palo Santo trees in Ecuador. And in Hawaii, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood trees must by 90 percent dead. That’s just part of our sustainability practices with this incredible company.

Quote of the night: “Freedom over fear.” Sarah Harnisch, Unstuck.

Takeaways from Bootcamp Day 16:

  • There are about 15 different types of classes that lead to starter kits. Going for aromatherapy certifications, writing books, giving away bottles of oil, setting up storefronts, making oily things, printing folders of info, doing more than one MLM, running side businesses linked to oils, doing classes that don’t lead to a starter kit, recreating the starter kit, or putting 100% of your time into personal development doesn’t lead to starter kit sales or build your business
  • Stay focused
  • Pick a starter line. Start the convo. Find the need. Meet the need. Sell the kit. Rinse and repeat to Diamond.
  • What if you weren’t afraid at all? What if every human outside your door could be on your team?
  • You were not afraid to talk to people when you were a toddler.
  • Don’t use your personality type as an excuse to avoid a conversation.
  • Just fall back on your training (even if you don’t care).

Oil of the night: EnRGee

Young Living says: Fresh and herbaceous, En-R-Gee™ essential oil blend offers an invigorating aromatic boost when you need it most. Diffuse or apply it topically during your morning routine or before any activity to enjoy the stimulating, spicy-pine fragrance of Rosemary, Juniper, Lemongrass, Nutmeg, Balsam Fir, Clove, and Black Pepper essential oils.

  • Combine with Clarity™ essential oil blend and diffuse during long drives or late night study sessions for an invigorating aroma that will help you push through.
  • Diffuse at work or home for an aromatic pick-me-up in the afternoon.
  • Add a couple drops to V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex and massage into temples, bottoms of feet, or back of neck before a challenging activity for an exhilarating fragrance. One of my favorite places to put this one is the back of the neck and the temples.
  • For increased energy use a diffuser to easily inhale the oil.
  • Rub diluted oil (use coconut, olive or sunflower oil) and use mixture as a massage oil.
  • Diffuse in home or car for alertness.
  • En-R-Gee oil gently lifts me mentally and emotionally without providing a huge caffeine jolt.
  • I like to use this oil in combination with EndoFlex Essential Oiland Thyromin as a supplement.
  • For mental alertness from fatigue, I often combine En-R-Gee Essential Oil with Clarityor Brain Power.
  • Improves mental clarity, alertness and energy and supports the adrenal glands
  • Helps with feelings of separation and isolation, and releasing the thought that you need to do it all on your own
  • Allows you to naturally release patterns of overwork, imbalance and stress

Homework: Read Chapters 33, 34, and 35 of the Unstuck book

Quote of the night: “Always look at the duplication factor. Can you be copied??” Sarah Harnisch, Unstuck.

Takeaways from Bootcamp Day 15:

  • No matter what type of class you teach, the foundation of relationship must be there
  • For business owner classes, you need someone on the inside that is a megaphone for classes, that has had their “wow” moment with oils
  • With blogging and vlogging, don’t underestimate the time it takes to build your audience. Also, this method is hard to duplicate
  • With Vendor Events, flip kits flip kits flip kits– and Diamond Rising Deck Contact Me cards are a GAME changer. Only invest in people that are willing to host or come to a class

Testimony:

Tara says: “Just connected with my inactive leader in person and she is going to reactivate! Prospected a lady at the bank and shared your 101 textable class! Reconnected with some many ladies this week and moved them from the warm list to an action list with verbal commitments! Unstuck has unlocked so many questions and confusion I had on why my business unraveled! Thank you 1000X!!! I love you lady!”

Oil of the night: Release

Young Living says: Release™ is a blend with a relaxing aroma that facilitates the ability to let go of anger and frustration. It also promotes harmony and balance when diffused.

Application: Start with Sara or Inner Child. Add Clarity. Then try release third. That’s a great emotional oils protocol! This is wonderful for releasing negative memories and anger.

Quote of the night: “One of the biggest mistakes I see is the cutting of the close in interactive classes. It’s because you’re nervous about the sale.” Sarah Harnisch, Unstuck.

Takeaways from Bootcamp Day 13: Interactive Classes: Lunch and Learns, Sip and Sniff, Simple Swap, Ditch and Switch, Speed Oiling, Make and Takes that Work:

  • Don’t spend too much on supplies (or you will scare away your leaders)

  • Always ask yourself if what you’re doing can be copied
  • Look at the amount of prep time in your classes
  • Keep it SIMPLE
  • Have fun!
  • Always drive to the Core 5 Starter Kits (Oils, Thieves, NingXia, Savvy, CBD)

Oil of the night: Frankincense

Frankincense was one of the first oils to be diffused. It was valued more than gold in ancient times. It was one of the gifts of the wise men to our Savior. Matthew 2:11: “on coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and Frankincense and Myrrh.” It would have been rubbed all over the body of a newborn baby. Emotionally, this oil is adaptogenic. It will adapt to a person’s spiritual state of being. One writer said: “holding the wisdom of the ages, it waits for what is asked of it, and will do all that may be required of it.” It has the power to remove all that is unwanted. It’s used to break old ties and assists when truth is altered.
